I'm turning 22

No, not me. Kate is the one with the impending anniversary and, instead of celebrating as most 22 year-olds tend to do, she’s asking for you to make a donation to her my charity: water campaign:

I’ve set up this mycharity: water campaign in order to help bring clean water to people who can’t currently access any. All contributions, small or large, even just $1, would be hugely appreciated, by both myself and the rest of the world.

Please note: Because of charity: water’s unique model, 100% of all donations go directly to direct water projects costs, and each donation is ‘proved’ and tracked to the village it helped when projects are complete.

matthewb: Big news overnight is the launch of Square, a mobile app supporting multiple devices that enables anyone to take credit card transactions without the hassle of merchant accounts or complicated fee structures. It’s the brainchild of Twitter inventor Jack Dorsey and with the likes of Buzz Andersen involved, it’s going to be huge. It’s worth mentioning that the card reader mechanism uses the audio jack to pass card data to the device. Genius.

Aaron Feinberg: When the wave conditions are right a wave appears, infrequently, as a result of the splash back off the cliff connecting with an incoming wave. This causes the incoming wave to pop up, creating fan-like shapes. On this particular day, over the two hours I spent on the rocks, this wave only appeared once. This is that shot.
